CAMPING/HIKING........
Every year Curt and all his bros ( or all that can come) hike a new mountain or two in different western states. They have done WY, C
O, UT, NM so far. This year they went from the 16th of July to the 19th. All of his brothers went except Craig who I posted about last post, he is in Iraq serving our country. They hike the highest peak in Colorado Mount Elbert (14,331 feet high) and Mount Wheeler in New Mexico ( 13,100 ft high) . They pretty much run up the mountains they finished the first by two in the afternoon on Thursday starting it Thursday morning and Friday morning starting Mount Wheeler and finishing by noon. Its great that his brothers still get together and have these great male bonding experiences. Thanks boys for all the planning, especially Chad :)

Curt's camera ran out of batteries so I have a couple of pics from the beginning camp and one from the end camp I will get more from Chad eventually thankfully he remembered to charge the camera I forgot :( Way to go boys, we are proud!!!

These are great!...What quality Shattuck fun! - A couple years ago Nase went w/the boys up Kings Peak... we had just moved from Hawaii & going from sea level to the top of that mountain almost made Nase's brain explode, but he made it and had a great time & got to know his awesome cousin-in-laws better.. he loved it!
-So I'm sure it was a major hike w/not much cushy stuff in there...but I have to say that sleeping on asphalt looks the most hard core!! :p I would have had a double air mattress!! (which we WILL have at the Morris reunion next Friday night when we camp :)
